DW Interior LED Lighting Retrofit

Description:
The Districtwide Interior LED Lighting Retrofit project will upgrade around 3,000 existing fluorescent tube interior lighting fixtures to LED in 10 buildings across the three campuses. In addition, simple occupancy/ vacancy controls will be installed in spaces where substantial energy savings can be harvested, and in areas deemed necessary by Title 24. The project will achieve multiple benefits, including saving nearly 1,000,000 kWh/ year, resulting in approximately $105,000 in utility bill savings. It also offers enhanced controllability and improved quality of light to students, faculty, and staff.
