DW Server Replacement

Description:
The District maintains a large inventory of servers for a wide array of purposes; including supporting Banner, web-sites, instructional applications and a variety of administrative and student service uses. Server hardware has a limited life and needs to be upgraded and replaced on an ongoing basis. Servers will be replaced as they become obsolete or new requirements are presented. When possible, servers will be deployed as part of a virtual server environment to make the best use of resources such as maintenance, power consumption and cooling.
