DW UPS Device (MDF/IDF) Replacement

Description:
ITS has deployed UPS (uninterruptible power supply) devices in each MDF/IDF throughout the colleges and District Office to ensure that network service is not interrupted during a power outage. The existing devices are approaching 10 years of age and have begun to fail. In addition, they do not hold the quantity of charge originally intended. New devices that will hold a minimum of 4 hours charge will be purchased and installed. These devices ensure that the VoIP phone handsets continue to operate for a limited time during a power outage.
